The retail sales of organic foods have been growing steadily. Since 1990, organic food sales have grown at 20% per year. The projections for the future show continued growth, with the industry publication, Nutrition Business Journal, estimating organic food sales to reach $24 billion by the year 2010.

Given these trends, this is a time of tremendous opportunity for farmers.  The domestic production of organic food needs to grow in order to keep pace with consumer demand.  In particular, there is a need for more farmers raising organic dairy products, beef, pork, chicken, and produce.  It is also necessary to significantly increase the production of organic livestock feed.

To have a Help Wanted: Organic Farmers packet sent to you, fill out the Information Request Form or call 715-772-3153. MOSES will charge $5 to cover shipping and handling costs for mailed packets.
