Wilson runs a well integrated dairy farm and grows soybeans, corn, oats, peas, barley, succotash, wheat and alfalfa. Use of shallow tilled green manures as well as his own dairy manure contributes to good soil
tilth and weed control on Wilson's farm. The various feed crops provide a balanced ration
for all ages of livestock as well as offering a diverse crop rotation.

Luhman raises organic grass-fed beef and lamb, along with growing organic corn, soybeans, oats, wheat and forages. Using a diverse rotation and a variety of mechanical techniquest for weed control, Jon
produces feed for both his own livestock use and for sale to other organic farmers in his region. An
experienced
grazier, Luhman is a beef supplier for Thousand Hills Cattle Co. in Cannon Falls, MN.

The Primuses run a forage-based dairy using intensive rotational grazing. They also use windbreaks for summer and winter and feature unique silage crops. Paul and Amy Primus are Horizon Organic dairy farmers and were recognized by Horizon as “National Quality Award Winners” in 2007 for running an outstanding dairy that produces exceptional milk.

Food Farm was one of the very first CSAs in the state when it was launched in 1993. Based in the heart
of the Minnesota Northland, Food Farm offers fresh vegetables year-round through the
use of
season-extending hoop houses and energy efficient root cellar storage.
Food Farm also offers year-round vegetables, and sells organic poultry.
