An extraordinary, farmer-centered event, this gathering is the largest organic farming conference in the U.S. Last year, more than 2200 people attended, with participants traveling from 41 states and 7 foreign countries. Sponsored by the Wisconsin-based Midwest Organic and Sustainable Education Service (MOSES), the conference is celebrated as the foremost educational and networking event in the organic farming community.

The conference is highly regarded due to its practical workshops designed to help beginning, transitional, and experienced organic farmers. According to MOSES' Executive Director, Faye Jones, "Every year, organic agriculture grows in size as well as expertise. The conference is a great place to learn, cultivate, and share ideas. And with the demand for organic food still way ahead of our current supply, it is abundantly clear that we need more Midwestern organic producers, whether it’s for dairy, meat, poultry, produce, or livestock feed and grain."

The Organic Farming Conference is held annually at the
La Crosse Center in downtown La Crosse, WI.
